International School of Bergen visit to the University Museum

In June 2024, two school classes (grades 2 & 3) visited the University Museum of Bergen during their educational module “Water and Soil”. The students had a guided tour around the museum exhibit and then participated in organized activities on different marine invertebrates including marine annelids.

One Ocean Week 2024

is a city festival for everyone interested in a sustainable ocean. It combines cultural and educational activities for different audiences from small children starting to learn about marine environment to professionals and policy makers in sustainable approach to the ocean. MAnDAriN contributed with our activity on annelid diversity and with a public lecture at the University Museum venue on the polychaetes with developed jaw apparatuses and their important role in understanding past diversity preserved in marine fossil deposits.
